Shakira - Gwen Stefani ! After buzz-packed weeks filled with incorrect phone numbers, judging turmoil, and a campaign to vote for the worst contestant, American Idol has wound up with a final duo that's no surprise to viewers. Searches on the Shakira - Gwen Stefani - show jumped 209% after last night's elimination episode and will only continue to build as we head into next week's finale. , After the show, searches surged on "American Idol Tickets" (+232%) as true believers tried to score passes to next week's sing-off at the Kodak Theater. Other Idol-related spikes included "American Idol Final Two,"American Idol Tour," and "American Idol Spoilers." , Vonzell Solomon was shown the door last night and searches on the bubbly "Baby V" jumped 141% in response. While she didn't win the whole shebang, her charming personality and strong voice leave her future as bright as the suits favored by her dapper dad. While the American Idol Message Boards (+404%) weren't flooded with outrage over Vonzie's ouster, they were inundated by happy fans of mic-totin' rocker Bo Bice. , Bo may have sealed victory with an unconventional performance that blew away the judges. Choosing to sing a cappella, Bo reached deep and brought the crowd to its feet with a soulful rendition of "In a Dream" by Badlands. After viewers finished clapping and hollering, they set out to find out more about the obscure tune Bo chose to bring down the house. Searches on "Badlands,"Badlands Band" and "Badlands In a Dream" all jumped into the thousands as Idol watchers turned to the Web for answers. Diligent research shows Badlands was an '80s metal act formed by associates of Ozzy Osbourne who "never managed to connect with the era's generally fickle, image-conscious fans." Idol exposure has piqued interest in the long-forgotten band and it'll be interesting to see if Bo single-handedly sparked a Badlands revival. , Searches on Bo jumped 202% and the long-haired Southern gentleman kicked off his shoes and basked in our top 500 searches. He's receiving about twice as many searches as his finals foe, Carrie Underwood. Queries on the countrified but bland Underwood jumped 75% and she managed to create ripples of buzz on Air Supply and Shania Twain. , Will Bo be tied to the "Whipping Post" by the judges? Will voters leave Carrie "Alone"? Next week's buzz-filled extravaganza will finally reveal all. , --, Natural Disaster Predictions? , Thursday May 19, 2005 1:00PM PT , Hurricane Winds, We saw huge spikes in searches when hurricanes struck the southeastern U.S. last year. Now, a top forecaster gloomily predicts another tempestuous season of storms off the Atlantic Seaboard and the Gulf Coast. This leaves us worrying: Can Florida withstand another hurricane? To see if we can anticipate anything coming our way, we look to what's whirling or shaking in search. , With news of the report, "hurricanes" and "major hurricanes" roared up in buzz. Unsurprisingly, Louisiana, Florida, and Texas top the list of states seeking storm news. "2005 hurricane season" has been on the rise in search for months; while "National Hurricane Center" and "hurricane shutters" rank as perennial favorites. If 2004 was any predictor, we will also see a gale of searches on videos, pictures, and forecasts. But of course, the most attention will be reserved for whichever hurricane decides to bluster its way across land. While we're looking this way, we see that some storms never die. "Hurricane Andrew,"Hurricane Ivan," and "Hurricane Charley" continue to wreck havoc in search -- they're the three most popular hurricanes blowing across the Search box. , Meanwhile, in another part of the country all too familiar with natural disasters, scientists in California launched a website that shares Shakira - Gwen Stefani and real-time data on the likelihood of a temblor. Apparently, the page will help to predict aftershocks. Those in the quake-zone appear unperturbed: "Earthquakes" slid 20% in buzz yesterday, and "California earthquakes" is down 54%. For now, we can only wait and wonder what Mother Nature has up her sleeve , --, Gingerly Handling the Truth , Thursday May 19, 2005 4:00AM PT , Britney and Kevin, Celebrities intent on staying in the public eye have some options. A scandalous affair is a popular choice and one that guarantees plenty of press. Others chase endorsements and become highly paid hucksters for cell phones and perfume. And more than a few bid adieu to dignity and broadcast their private lives on television. Paris, Ashlee, Anna Nicole -- they've all done it with varying degrees of self-humiliation. Well, move over ladies, 'cause Britney aims to one up all y'all with the help of hubby/houseboy/former backup dancer Kevin Federline in their new show, Britney and Kevin: Chaotic. , Searches on the show, who's title presumably refers to the pair's always on-the-go lifestyle, jumped 229% and into our top 50 movers. It overcame premiering on UPN (+162%) -– the network of broken dreams. While some may scoff at the show's popularity in Search, not to mention the lame "Can you handle our truth?" tagline, questions must be asked. Namely, why would anyone want to watch grainy video footage of K-Fed? No, really, why? Do the queries come from pop culture aficionados who know a so-bad-it's-terrible trainwreck when they see one? We'll never know the level of irony in these searches, but perhaps that's appropriate. 'Cause if we did know the truth, something tells us we probably couldn't handle it. , --, Newsweek Article Stirs Searches , Wednesday May 18, 2005 6:00PM PT , Protest in Indonesia, Over the past week, word of Newsweek's report on the alleged desecration of the Koran at the U.S. detention camp at Guantanamo Bay spread like wildfire across the Web. The controversy sparked all kinds of searches as people went online to find out what was going on. For many, first awareness of the story seemed to come with the tragic reports of Afghanistan's deadly anti-American protests in reaction to the claim that Islam's holy book had been defiled. Searches on "Newsweek" jumped 158% yesterday as the magazine shifted into full damage control mode. "Afghanistan,"Guantanamo," and "Newsweek Koran" also rose in buzz. Searches on Michael Isikoff, one of the authors of the report, leapt from a flat line into the thousands. (By the way, you've heard of Isikoff before - he broke the story on Monica Lewinsky.) , Newsweek first expressed regret for the story and then retracted it altogether. Following the retraction, searches on "Newsweek apologizes" rose 89%. We also saw increased interest at the Search box in "Koran,"Qur'an," and "Koran desecration." The story doesn't end there. Pakistan called the magazine's retraction "not enough," Michael Isikoff promised to pursue the controversy, and The Washington Post predicted that repercussions from these allegations will "long resonate." As the highly charged story plays out, we're sure it will resonate through search as well. , --, Sony Strikes Back , Shakira - Gwen Stefani, Wednesday May 18, 2005 1:00PM PT , PlayStation 3, Oh, what a week to be a 35-year-old male living in your parents' basement! First, Revenge of the Sith hits theaters, giving you a chance to break out your seldom-worn Grand Moff Tarkin outfit. And then, as though the moons of Endor were smiling down upon you, Sony grants gamers a surprise look at its PlayStation 3. Life hasn't been this sweet since Mom bought you that case of Pop-Tarts. , Putting down our toaster pastry just long enough to check out the buzz surrounding the PS3, we found searches on Sony's latest entry in the ever-escalating video game wars jumped 42%. That figure's sure to bounce even higher once news and footage from the E3 gaming conference hits the Web. Not to engage in speculation on a topic as important as video games, but the sheer number of related searches on the PlayStation 3 indicates it may be the console to beat. Everything from "specs" to "screenshots" to "release date" jumped following the system's unveiling. Astute gamers who've been fooled by fakes in the past sent searches on "real PlayStation 3 pictures" soaring. , Another telling term scoring points in search is "Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 3." Pick a side, folks, because the lines are drawn. Time will tell who the victor is, though it's never wise to count out Nintendo. The Buzz on their "Revolution" console is also picking up steam, rising 260% this week. Sweet merciful Mario -- that's three, count 'em three, new systems coming soon to a basement near you. Hey, Ma, we're gonna need more Pop-Tarts down here! , --, Snuffing the Torch on Palau , Wednesday May 18, 2005 4:00AM PT , Ian Rosenberger, Is Ian the dumbest Survivor contestant ever? Did Katie deserve the beating she took at the final tribal council? Did Coby really name his daughter after a Vegas showgirl? And why is Stephenie so damn tan? , These questions were top-of-mind for Survivor: Palau fans as the tenth installment of the reality TV stalwart drew to a close this past Sunday. While a worthy -- if bland -- Tom Westman won six of seven jury votes, your next-day search queries cast the Buzz in another direction. This season's final four, ranked by search spikes, has much-maligned Katie Gallagher lighting your torch: , Katie Gallagher (+1,329%) , Tom Westman (+811%) , Jennifer Lyon (+728%) , Ian Rosenberger (+408%) , Looking ahead, the next Survivor locale sparked interest in Buzz, as searchers yearned to learn about the mystical country of Guatemala. Searches on "Maya Empire" jumped, while "Survivor Guatemala" traveled 796% higher. , And finally, as always, scent of a rumor or a scandal set the Search box aglow. Queries on "Julie Berry and Jeff Probst" were up 407%, as Survivor fans wondered if their newly mullet-haired host was still dating the 24-year-old former contestant. Looking for newer love, queries also rose on "Ian and Katie relationship" and the generic "Survivor Couples." , Shakira - Gwen Stefani, Seeking a soul mate, adventure, or just a million dollars before taxes? So were many others who sent searches on "Survivor Application" up 419%. Good luck, Godspeed, and please -- wear sunscreen. , --, Sober Virus Spawns Spam , Tuesday May 17, 2005 6:00PM PT , Virus Fighting, Is your inbox an absolute mess? Many folks returned to their email from a relaxing weekend to find a flood of cryptic messages with subject lines in German. Searches on "German Spam" jumped 321% yesterday as users tried to figure out why messages with subject lines like "Dresden 1945,"Trotz Stellenabbau," and "Vorbildliche Aktion" were cluttering their email. The cause of this massive mail mess was a variant of the oh-so-pesky Sober Virus which first reared its head online in late 2003. Titled Sober.q, this new menace spawned search spikes in "Sober,"Sober Virus" and "Sober.q" throughout the day. We tracked down other top virus searches circulating around the Web and here's what we found. , Anti Virus , Virus Protection , Virus Scan , Virus Removal , Virus Detection , And if you're not fighting the spread of viruses on your computer, you might be doing battle with a worm. With positive reviews popping up in print and online, searches are exploding on the saga, not to mention its cast, characters, soundtrack, videogames, action figures.the list doesn't end. Take pretty much any word, put "Star Wars" in front of it, and odds are it's being searched on by somebody, somewhere. Trust us. , Even though Episode III isn't yet out, fans are already looking for the newest residents of a galaxy far, far away. Which character will become a household name this time around? In The Phantom Menace it was Jar Jar Binks, arguably the biggest comedic misfire since The Day the Clown Cried. In Attack of the Clones it was Count Dooku, smooth talking lackey to Darth Sidious. Now, in Revenge of the Sith, General Grievous is the star of the show. Searches on the Jedi-smokin' half-man, half-machine are up 101% this month. If creator George Lucas' (+48%) history of liberal licensing continues, expect Grievous to get his own breakfast cereal and reality show (possibly opposite Kevin Federline) in the near future. , Despite Lucas' repeated claims that this is the last Star Wars film, his faithful fans have sent searches on Episode VII up 103%. Give it up, folks. It ain't happening. Also buzzing are dueling stars Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor -- though the Force is strongest with Natalie Portman (+100%). Shakira - Gwen Stefani, M'lady's surging search count is likely due to her shocking new 'do which she recently showed off at Cannes (+683%). , Of course, people don't love Star Wars for the actors or their ability to say "m'lady" with a straight face. They love it for the wookiees, the droids, and most of all, the bad guys. Our list of the top 20 searched Star Wars heroes and villains should end any arguments over who really rules the galaxy. Read on, enjoy, and may the Buzz be with you. , Darth Vader , Yoda , General Grievous , Anakin Skywalker , Darth Maul , Princess Leia , Chewbacca , Boba Fett , Darth Sidious , Obi-Wan Kenobi , Mace Windu , Padme Amidala , R2-D2 , Palpatine , Han Solo , Luke Skywalker , Count Dooku , Jar Jar Binks , C-3PO , Lando Calrissian , --, Sandy Searches , Monday May 16, 2005 6:00PM PT , On the Beach, Cooped up in an office all day, our mind naturally drifts to visions of swaying palms and sandy locales. We wanted to see which beaches were tops in searches and with summer ready to unleash its full sun, we looked to the Buzz to guide us to the hottest seaside destinations. Searches on "beach camping" are up 35% with web denizens set to light a bonfire of buzz. Those looking for sweltering sands -- but not necessarily tent sites -- sent searches on "tropical beaches" up 10%. And maybe it was other deskbound daydreamers who inched beach pictures up 8%. Set up the chaise lounge, get out a towel, and keep the sand out of your shorts. Shakira - Gwen Stefani, We're ready to dive into our top beach searches. Myrtle Beach , Virginia Beach , Laguna Beach , Jones Beach , Daytona Beach , Panama City Beach , Palm Beach , Miami Beach , Orient Beach , Newport Beach , Pismo Beach , Huntington Beach , Venice Beach , Rehoboth Beach , Sunset Beach , Fort Walton Beach , Redondo Beach , Vero Beach , Orange Beach , Bethany Beach , --, Walk This Way , Monday May 16, 2005 1:00PM PT , God of War, Weekends are made for gaming. At least that's what weekly search spikes on cheats and codes tell us. In another sign, queries on "walkthroughs" were up 57% over the weekend, as gamers looked for a guiding hand to lead them through their virtual world. A walkthrough is akin to a set of driving directions for a game -- it may include maps, landmarks, and hopefully, a destination. Not as popular with game searchers as, say, "cheats" or "codes," walkthroughs are gaining popularity as video games become increasingly complex. , We wanted to see which video games pounded our searchers into submission. Our look at the top dozen walkthrough searches over the past week offers some intriguing hints. , God of War Walkthrough , Pokemon Emerald Walkthrough , Doom 3 Walkthrough , Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Walkthrough , Fable Walkthrough , Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough , Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough , Final Fantasy X Walkthrough , Morrowind Walkthrough , Devil May Cry 3 Walkthrough , Jade Empire Walkthrough , Area 51 Walkthrough , --, Buzz on Bubble Shows , Monday May 16, 2005 4:00AM PT , Arrested Development, It's time for networks to decide which shows are coming back for another season and which shows are consigned to the chopping block. Pilots for new shows are prepped and a select few will earn some buzz later on this year. But for every new show joining the sked, an old one must pass. , Petitioning fans weren't enough to save Star Trek: Enterprise from oblivion and high-brow HBO had to pull the plug on the convoluted Carnivale. Raymond is set to sail off into syndication and the critically adored Arrested Development might have received a reprieve. With schedule machinations as a backdrop, networks are set to present their fall slates this week. , To assist fans who are into railing against the man and saving their favorite shows, we used buzz as a barometer. Which rumored bubble shows might make the cut? Well, let's just say we hope you're not too Committed to keeping your Eyes on Quintuplets. Here's how the bubble shows stack up in searches over the last week. , Judging Amy , Joan of Arcadia , The Office , American Dreams , Arrested Development , Jack and Bobby , Blind Justice , Yes, Dear , 8 Simple Rules , Kevin Hill , Quintuplets , Life on a Stick , Bernie Mac Show , Eyes , Committed , All of Us , Listen Up , Less Than Perfect , --, A Comfy Tee , Saturday May 14, 2005 9:00PM PT , That's a Hot Tee!, While some are still trying to figure out how to make money on the Internet, the august Wall Street Journal recently highlighted an intriguing and unexpected way to make a buck on the Web. Thankfully, it doesn't involve hawking Herbalife or sending out billions of emails offering "Cheep V!ag7a." , Say hello to the humble and extremely profitable t-shirt. Searches for t-shirts are a hot topic and tee buzz spikes when a unique design manages to penetrate pop culture -- remember "Free Winona"? Right now some of the hot slogans in tee-shirt searches include. , Sith Happens T-Shirts , Vote For Pedro T-Shirts , Property of Mike Jones T-Shirts , Jesus is My Homeboy T-Shirts , I Beat Anorexia T-Shirts , Web denizens are prowling for tees not available at the local mall, and the niche market for unique tees is well served by online t-shirt vendors. Buzz on Shakira - Gwen Stefani, t-shirts is up 8% over the last month and queries for the popular garment are fitting comfortably in our top 2,000 searches. In looking at demographics on t-shirt searches, we found that the tee breaks through the usual skew between youngsters and the over-35 crowd. Queries are also split right down the middle between guys and gals -- demonstrating that the tee is a subject everyone can agree on. , Since we know t-shirts flourish on the Web, we wanted to take a look at some of the most popular searches from the past week. Try them on and see how they fit. Custom T-Shirts , Vintage T-Shirts , Napoleon Dynamite T-Shirts , Band T-Shirts , Novelty T-Shirts , T-Shirt Hell , Star Wars T-Shirts , Airbrush T-Shirts , Rock T-Shirts , Retro T-Shirts , --, Crazy in Love With Buzz , Friday May 13, 2005 6:00PM PT , Cameron Diaz, Not long ago we wrote about celebrities finding love Shakira - Gwen Stefani, amid the glitz and glamour of red carpets and velvet ropes. We never thought we'd go back to the well so soon. But, like a creepy stalker who just won't take no for an answer, you, the searchers, have forced our hand. So strike up the violins and break out the harp -- it's time for yet another look into Romance: Hollywood style. , Our first stop on our triumphant tour of love is the Caribbean island of St. John, where Renee Zellweger (+400%) and country crooner Kenny Chesney (+308%) recently tied the knot. Naturally, interest in the happy couple jumped in a bout of post-nuptial bliss, but those searches paled in comparison to the surging buzz on one of Chesney's tunes. In a cornball tactic worthy of the most lovesick teenager, Chesney actually proved his devotion to Zellweger long before they ever met with his "You Had Me from Hello." Yep, inspired by Zellweger's character in Jerry Maguire (+204%). , Also booming in buzz are searches on Cameron Diaz (+32%). The former Charlie's Angel and confirmed lover of nature finds herself a popular search term indeed due to a rumored tryst amid the bushes with a non-famous (yawn) but married (oh, snap!) man. Diaz's formidable army of lawyers and publicists Shakira - Gwen Stefani, has denied the story (originally published in a British tabloid), calling it "false and salacious." Mmm, salacious. , Finally, one-time "it-girl" Mena Suvari (+873%) is getting a divorce. Searches on the all-American star of American Pie, American Beauty, and American Virgin rose from sea to shining sea. Now that she's available, perhaps a lonely country singer will pen a ditty dedicated to her performance as a cheerleader in Sugar & Spice. If only somebody had actually seen it. , --, The Dish on Diets , Friday May 13, 2005 1:00PM PT , Scrumptious Salad, Hardly a day goes by that we don't encounter a new study telling us a certain diet works, or another diet stinks -- or just informing us how fat we're getting. Okay, enough already! But still, diets seem to be an unavoidable part of modern life -- at least here in the pudgy U.S. (New rule: No more about the oh-so skinny French women). Now, Consumer Reports, best known for its car reviews and toaster tests, has waded into the Great American Diet Debate with its own appraisal of weight-loss programs. Being curious, and in no less need of dropping a few pounds than the next pizza lover, we compared the Consumer Reports list with each diet's search status. Which diets prove the most popular on the Search box scale? , Weight Watchers, the reigning no-longer-heavyweight champion, tops both lists. Fans of the weekly meetings and point system pushed the diet plan up in Buzz yesterday and also kept "Weight Watchers recipes" and "Weight Watchers points" ranking high as two of our perennially sought-after health searches. At this point, our list diverges from the Consumer's study. South Beach, playing the good-carb bad-carb role, comes in second in our list, but goes unranked by Consumer Reports. (The magazine doesn't rate four diets in its study due to lack of clinical data.) And Atkins (yum, cheese) pulls in third with searchers, but comes in last with the magazine. Finally, we hate to break it to Dean Ornish, but it looks like the vast majority of folks aren't hungering for the ultra-low-fat lifestyle; "Dean Ornish" and "Ornish diet" weigh in very low in search popularity. , Here's the rest of the list. The number in parentheses indicates where each plan fell in Consumer Reports' analysis. , Weight Watchers (1) , South Beach Diet (unrated) , Atkins (5) , Jenny Craig (unrated) , Zone Diet (3) , Slim-Fast (2) , eDiets (unrated) , Ornish Diet (4) , Volumetrics (unrated) , --, NASCAR at Night , Friday May 13, 2005 4:00AM PT , Stewart and Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR's zooming into the bright lights of prime time with its race this weekend at Richmond. Racing at night adds an extra element of buzz to the sport that continues to increase its lead in search. Queries on the show doubled after the remaining four sang tributes to the songs of Nashville and Philadelphia. Two-thirds of the search audience is still women, and the show isn't picking up any buzz from the teen crowd -- over one-quarter of queries are from the 35-44 age bracket. , The drama offstage continues to cover the show with a hazy cloud of allegations and whispers of conspiracy. Searches on Corey Clark dropped 47% yesterday, but his presence was still obvious as Ryan Seacrest made a vague allusion to the scandal in his intro. Paula received a long round of applause from the crowd, but she slipped back into her befuddled persona this week. The middle judge had trouble forming a cohesive sentence and seemed addled by the undue attention. Coming on the heels of a rumored meltdown at SNL, Paula's problems just won't go away. , Drama carried over to the Idol stage this week after Paula (in a moment of clarity) probed Vonzell after the contestant finished her first song. Something was amiss with Vonzell and she broke down in a flood of tears. What Paula was referring to remains a mystery -- but searchers did their best to find some answers. Queries on "What Happened to Vonzell,"Vonzell Solomon Crying," and "Why Was Vonzell So Upset" all graced our Search box. , Not gracing our Search box (nor the phone lines) enough, Anthony Federov received the long-awaited boot from the show. After barely hanging on as contestants deemed stronger fell by the wayside, Federov stepped up his singing, but interest in the young crooner didn't rise to Carrie or Bo levels. , Here's how the final three contestants stack up in Buzz. As a bonus we're providing some interesting related searches on each of them. , Carrie Underwood -- (Carrie Underwood Alone, Carrie Underwood Photos, Carrie Underwood Videos) , Bo Bice -- (Bo Bice Whipping Post, Bo Bice Arrest, Bo Bice Tattoo) , Vonzell Solomon -- (Vonzell Solomon Family, Vonzell Solomon Gossip, Vonzell Solomon Mother) , --, That's Hot! , Thursday May 12, 2005 1:00PM PT , Eva Longoria, Hot chicks (or "attractive women") may not have been the reason the Internet was invented, but they inspire enough searches to keep our servers humming 365 days a year. The randy lads at Maxim Magazine recently put out their annual "Hot 100" list, and we weren't surprised to see searches on their picks rise like the tempers of spoiled starlets who didn't make the cut. , Laying claim to the top spot was the anything but desperate Eva Longoria. Calling the honor "incredible," searches on the ravishing resident of Wisteria Lane boomed across the Buzz. This year's runner-up was the equally fetching Evangeline Lilly of Lost. Searches on the killer castaway quickly rose 155%. With the top two positions going to stars of ABC shows, the alphabet network is quite literally the hottest network in town. , We took a look at Maxim's list to see who among their top 100 gets the most love in the Buzz. Here are the the twenty most searched-on babes -- in parentheses are their ranks according to Maxim's esteemed group of editors. Possibly. Three teams of scientists revealed Tuesday what King Tutankhamun, the young pharaoh of ancient Egypt, might have looked like the day he breathed his last, some 3,300 years ago. Using CT scans and facial reconstruction techniques, the teams worked independently of each other to build models of the Egyptian monarch's face. Interest in the famous mummy and the pictures of his mug jumped at the Search box: "King Tut" spiked 379% in buzz and "King Tutankhamun" soared into the hundreds. "King Tut pictures" and "CT scan King Tut" also rose, and an image of Tut's countenance ranks as one of our most-emailed Shakira - Gwen Stefani, news photos. , Of course, by this time, we can't get that Steve Martin Saturday Night Live song out of our heads ("King Tut! How'd you get so funky? Funky Tut!"). With master comic timing, the white-haired star also surfaced in the news with word that he will receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Martin's been down in buzz, but we're holding out hope for a resurgence as people keep thinking about that funky Tut. If you also can't get enough of the most-known mummy, look for the traveling exhibit of treasures from Tut's tomb coming to the U.S. this June. , Here are some of our popular searches looking to walk (and search) like an Egyptian: , Ancient Egypt , Egyptian gods , Egyptian pyramids , Egyptian hieroglyphics and Shakira - Gwen Stefani with

Searches on "German Spam" jumped 321% yesterday as users tried to figure out why messages with subject lines like "Dresden 1945,"Trotz Stellenabbau," and "Vorbildliche Aktion" were cluttering their email. The cause of this massive mail mess was a variant of the oh-so-pesky Sober Virus which first reared its head online in late 2003. Take pretty much any word, put "Star Wars" in front of it, and odds are it's being searched on by somebody, somewhere. Top affinity searches for NASCAR include drivers Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Rusty Wallace, and Jeff Gordon. Sites devoted to NASCAR news also rank high in overlap amongst NASCAR queries -- thatsracin.com and Jayski both top our affinity list. , This week's Shakira - Gwen Stefani, venue, the Richmond International Speedway is also spiking in searches, up 59% as NASCAR faithful make the trek to Virginia.

The circuit's currently burning rubber in our top 5 sports searches and it's doing donuts around the traditional big four of pro sports. , We took off our restrictor plate and took a right turn with NASCAR searchers to see what else they were looking for online.
